30% GHG reductions by 2020 compared to BAU and 35% of electricity generated from clean sources by 2024.
The 2nd Special Programme on Climate Change (PECC 2014-2018) published in 2014, includes the most relevant mitigation measures to 2018. The programme summarises 23 quantified mitigation-relevant measures that lead to a reduction in emissions by 83.2 MtCO2ee in 2018 compared to the baseline. The PECC packages many of the existing targets and ongoing actions from various policy and strategy documents, and so the majority of emission reductions achieved under current policies compared to the business-as-usual trajectory can be traced back to measures within this document. 50% emissions reduction by 2050 compared to 2000.
