The Norwegian Maritime Authority enacted zero-emissions requirements for vessels (tourist ships and ferries) visiting its five world heritage fjords, starting in 2026. It applies to passenger vessels with a capacity of over 12 people and under 10,000 GT, and is to be expanded to larger ships in 2032.
