An update from the 2015 revision, the latest plan aims to achieve the following renewable power capacities by 2037: 15.6 GW for solar, 5.8 GW for biomass, 3 GW for wind, 3 GW for hydro including imports from Laos, 0.9 GW from waste.

The aggregate target of 29.4 GW under the latest plan is a major leap from the earlier target of 19.7 GW by 2036.
