The Climate Change Mitigation Strategy and Action Plan (CCMSAP) for Turkey, covering the period 2024-2030, was published in March 2024 and includes 49 strategies and 260 actions across key sectors such as industry, energy, buildings, transportation, agriculture, waste, and Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry (LULUCF). The plan aims to reduce Turkey's greenhouse gas emissions by 41% compared to Business as Usual projections by 2030, aligning with the country's updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and its 2053 Net Zero Emission target.
