The Deutschlandticket, introduced on May 1, 2023, is a nationwide public transport subscription ticket in Germany that costs €63 per month. The ticket aims to ease the financial burden of rising energy prices, make public transport more attractive and encourage people to switch from car to bus and train. It started in May 2023 at €49, rose to €58 in 2025, and will cost €63 from January 2026.
