During the 10-year period, the government aims to add 56,024 MW of power plants, lower than the previous projection of 78,000 MW set in the 2017-2026 ten-year plan. Meanwhile, the coal-fired power plant remains the main source of electricity supply, contributing 54.4% by 2025, followed by renewable energy at 23.0%, gas 22.2% and gasoline 0.4%.
