Through this program, the Australian government will provide AUD 40 million (EUR 24 million) in grants for businesses and community organisations to invest in energy efficiency (e.g. through equipment upgrades, emissions monitoring systems, etc. (NewClimate, 2020)

The government has the aim to aid businesses and community organisations through equipment upgrades to reduce energy consumption, investing in monitoring of emissions and energy, as well as in systems to better manage energy use. Studies to investigate energy efficiency opportunities and, for communitiy organisations, energy generation and storage projects  will also be stimulated.  (Australia, 2020)
