This roadmap aims to help Norway achieve its target of cutting climate emissions by 50% by 2030. The roadmap will also help boost Norwegian exports. This plan focuses on access to renewable energy, infrastructure, technology, and capital. The plan highlights nine priority sectors for green initiatives, including: offshore wind production, low-emission hydrogen production and distribution, CCSU, battery value chain development, energy-efficient process industry, solar industry, forestry, manufacturing, and maritime activities. The original initiative was launched by the Norwegian Government in 2022, and this updated "Roadmap 2.0" was launched in 2024.
