This initiative will boost Norwegian exports and contribute to Norway cutting its climate emissions in half by 2030. The plan focuses on access to renewable energy, infrastructure, technology, and capital. The plan highlights nine priority sectors for green initiatives, including: offshore wind production, low-emission hydrogen production and distribution, CCSU, battery value chain development, energy-efficient process industry, solar industry, forestry, manufacturing, and maritime activities. The original initiative was launched by the Norwegian Government in 2022, and this updated "Roadmap 2.0" was launched in 2024.
