Turkey's Long-Term Climate Strategy, developed under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, was published in March 2024 and outlines 89 strategies across 18 sectors and 4 cross-cutting areas to guide the country's path towards its 2053 net-zero emissions target. The strategy includes measures for climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as strategies related to technology, just transition, climate finance, and capacity building, with a specific target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 41% by 2030 compared to the reference scenario.
