This act announces the establishment of institutions and stipulation of mechanisms and procedures for effective conservation and efficient use of energy in Pakistan. The institutional arrangement will be known as the "Pakistan Energy Efficiency & Conservation Board" and the authority will be called "National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority".
