Aligned with the Energy White Paper and Ten Point Plan, this document aims at 60Mt reduction of greenhouse gas emissions including 15Mt through the progressive decarbonisation of UK Continental Shelf production, investment up to £14-16 billion by 2030 in new energy technologies (e.g. hydrogen and CCUS) and supporting energy efficiency measures.
The North Sea Transition Deal, will enable the oil and gas sector to drive the energy transition, securing jobs and supporting decarbonisation of industries and the whole supply chain across the UK.
