The Plano Clima is Brazil's new national climate policy framework that provides a roadmap towards the implementation of Brazil's climate commitments under the Paris Agreement. It includes the National Mitigation Strategy and National Adaptation Strategy, as well as corresponding sectoral and thematic plans. The sectoral mitigation plans will include three-year targets, action plans, cost estimations and financing pathways, in addition to monitoring and asssesment strategies. The plan aims to coordinate climate action across federal ministries, sectors, and various actors.
