Sectoral mitigation strategy and adaptation plan focused on reducing emissions from transport through electrification and modal shift. Key measures include expanding electric bus fleets in Santiago and other regions, electrifying taxis and shared taxis (“colectivos”), expanding metro and rail networks, and developing cycling infrastructure. Implementation of these measures is expected to deliver at least 3.43 MtCO₂e in emissions reductions by 2030.
